Wishbone Ash - Artist Art Gallery - wikipedia

Wishbone Ash are a British rock band, formed in 1969 by Martin Turner (bass & vocals) and completed with Steve Upton (drums and percussion), guitarists/vocalists Andy Powell and Ted Turner. They achieved most success in the early and mid-1970s. Their popular records included Wishbone Ash (1970), Pilgrimage (1971), Argus (1972), There's the Rub (1974), and New England (1976). They were one of the first bands who used twin lead guitars.

In 1974, Turner left the band, and was replaced by Laurie Wisefield. The band continued on with strong critical and commercial success until 1980. After this period there was a line-up instability with departures and reunions. Wisbone Ash is still performing today. The only original member is Andy Powell.
