Dire Straits - Making Movies - 1980

The front- and backcover are plain and designed by Neil Terk. There is nothing to explore except the name of the band, the title and the tracklisting.

At first sight it is a very boring cover in red, blue and white. Neverhteless; once you're holding the inner sleeve in your hands you'll notice the subtle intention behind the design. All this together makes the cover very recognizable and arty.

The title of the album is taken from a line in the song 'Skateaway' and from the outtake 'Making Movies'.
